API Manager ("we", "us", "the App") provides tools to build, test and manage APIs. We respect your privacy and keep data collection to the minimum required for core functionality, performance, and security.
2. What we collect
We do not track user behavior for advertising or profiling. We only collect the following necessary information:
- Device & environment data: OS version, app version, device model — used for compatibility and troubleshooting.
- Crash & diagnostic logs: automatic error reports to help fix crashes and improve reliability.
- Local app data: environments, collections, and history stored on your device (or in your browser) to enable app features.
- Optional account or sync data: only if you explicitly opt into a sync feature — never enabled by default.
3. How we use data
Collected data is used strictly for:
- Improving performance and data retrieval for required features of the app.
- Diagnosing, fixing, and preventing bugs and crashes.
- Providing essential functionality such as storing your saved environments, collections, and request history.
4. No behavioral tracking or ads
We do not collect behavioral data for advertising or profiling. We do not sell or share personal data with advertisers. If you enable optional sync features, we will disclose exactly what is synced and how to opt out.
5. Third parties
We may use third-party services for hosting, crash reporting, or analytics limited to performance (e.g., crash telemetry). We choose providers that commit to strong privacy controls. We do not share user behavior for marketing purposes.
6. Data storage & retention
Most user data stays on your device. For any optional cloud features, data is retained only as long as necessary for the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us (see below).
7. Security
We follow standard practices to protect data at rest and in transit. However, no system is completely secure; please secure your device and backups appropriately.
8. Children
Our app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us to request removal.
9. Summary — Minimal & necessary only
We do not collect user behaviour data except necessary ones to improve performance and data retrieval for required features of the app. Your saved environments, collections and history are kept private and stored locally unless you enable sync. We never sell personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the app. Significant changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
